So a little bit about me! My name is Rich Reynolds. I am an engineer and mechanical fitter with 45 years experience. I thrive on new challenges and work to a high standard with precise attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach to the job in hand. Being trustworthy and capable of working on any make of machinery, your machinery will be in great hands!
My History
I started my career in local garages where I qualified as a mechanic and ended up operating my own. I have worked as a toolmaker and maintenance technician for Bristol Bending Services and then as a steel fabricator and erector. In 2003 I joined Pipeline Products, which is a CNC pipe manufacturer. It supplies the dairy industry with high-quality valves, tubing and bends. Bristol Commercial Vehicles was my next venture, as a mechanic and toolmaker.
In 2003 I joined First Bus as an HGV fitter and bus breakdown recovery operative and spent the next 10 years recovering and repairing their rolling stock. In 2016 I changed my job to an HGV Plant Fitter and Forklift Inspection service engineer, working as a mobile fitter for Briarwood LTD. There I conducted regular maintenance on forklifts and lorries. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is a large part of my trade, which consists of ensuring that detailed records are kept of service histories and forthcoming machine services.
In 2021 I am branching out on a new venture, providing a mobile engine and machinery repair service called Electromec WSM. This will encapsulate 45 years of knowledge and experience. I will be offering a mobile repair and maintenance service in the southwest of the UK, covering an area within 1 hour’s drive from Weston-super-Mare.
